We collect minimal personal information necessary to provide our educational services: email address and name (for account creation), learning performance data (quiz answers, scores, study patterns), and device/browser information for platform optimization.
Your data is used exclusively to personalize your learning experience through our adaptive algorithm, track your progress across study sessions, improve platform quality through aggregate analytics, and communicate important updates about the service. We never sell or share your personal data with third parties.
All data is stored securely on Supabase (PostgreSQL) with row-level security policies ensuring each user can only access their own data. Database connections are encrypted. We do not store any patient health information — Bayan is an educational platform only.
Your account data is retained as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting info@medresearch-academy.om. Upon deletion, all personal data will be permanently removed within 30 days.
We use browser localStorage to maintain your learning state (quiz progress, spaced repetition schedule) for offline functionality. Session cookies are used for authentication only.
